Hi,
I have installed Zaptest through the web download. Successfully installed and registered myself. However when I try to start the Zaptest application, it will not run. It will show for a couple of seconds then it will disappear.
I had tried to uninstall and reinstall the application, even offline download, but to no avail.
Appreciate your feedback on what else I should do to start using Zaptest.
Thanks
Aries
Hello aries_ang ,
It may be you do not have the proper permissions to execute ZAPTEST:
Please try to execute ZAPTEST as an Administrator.
Let us know if this solved the issue.
Thanks,
ZAPTEST Team
Hi SashaY,
I faced this issue when running as an administrator. I have admin rights to run applications in my PC.
The issue still occurs.
Thanks
Aries
Hello Aries Ang!
Thank you, for helping us to improve ZAPTEST! What kind of message/window could you see for a second (could you provide a screenshot)?
Could you also check the “Event Viewer” (system application) application for any crashes?
Thank you,
ZAPTEST Team
Screenshot a attached.
After I attempt to launch the app, this screen will popup briefly for 1-2s, then it will close off and nothing happens after that.
Thank you for the provided screenshot!
Could you also check system Events? You should open “Event Viewer” system application and check for possible crashes around ZAPTEST.exe.
Thank you,
ZAPTEST Team
Event log as attached

Hello Aries Ang!
Thank you, for the provided information. We forwarded these errors to our RnD department. Meanwhile, could you provide information about operation system (version, build)? Do you use a proxy?
Thank you,
ZAPTEST Team
I am using Windows 10. Details as attached.
I believe we have a proxy as it is a controlled network within the organisation.
I have tried uninstalling the application and then downloaded the offline version to install. However, i still get the same error as attached.

Providing further details on some troubleshooting I did. I had another PC that had an older version installed previously but it doesn’t have this issue, the application is able to launch and ready to start automating. I was being asked to update to the latest version, which I did. Thenafter, I encounter the exact issue and error I reported earlier today.
I hope this provides further details for your investigation and hope to hear from you soon.
Hello!
Thank you, this is very important information. Do you know what was the exact version on another PC?
Just for the time, while our RnD team work on solution, we could provide you an old version (if we have the build), which is work on your environment.
Thank you,
ZAPTEST Team
Hi,
I didnt get to record down the version that was working previously. But we installed it on Nov-4 which is last Monday.
Perhaps you could trace back the version that was made available to download on Nov-4.
Thanks
Aries
