      Hello Zap,

      We heard there is a new feature in Zap-fix which enables to record a test without creating it manually – How do we do it?
      Please explain more.

      Thanks.

        Hello JSmith,

        Thank-you for your question.

        Basically this feature appeared in our latest Zap-fix standalone versions (Which we now call ZAPTEST):
        Starting from ZAPTEST v15 there is a new button in the upper toolbar which is similar to the recording button in UFTQTP.
        When clicking this button you can start you test by following its steps manually through the AUT (Application Under Test) and during this phase ZAPTEST collects all used Views and Objects;
        When the manual test is done, ZAPTEST builds its scripting test with the Objects it collected (Which you can view in the Workbench as well and rename it as you please);
        After the script is created you can update it, save it and run it just as you did in the previous created Zap-fix tests.

        This new feature will enable a more quick, easy to use and reliable way to create tests using ZAPTEST.

        Please contact Zap for further help.

        Thanks,
        Sasha
