Hello Barbara,
Thank-you for your question.
In ZPX (Short for Zap-fix) there is a build-in mechanism (Named ZOE) which can be taught to recognize any type of language based UI.
When you first install ZPX, ZOE contains some elementary foreign languages’ features (The English is a default in ZPX, while ZOE responsible to all types of languages except English):
To enable ZPX ZOE go to ZPX -> Options -> and change the "Select Default Engine" to "ZOE" (instead of "QTP OCR"), then scan again your UI and try to use ZPX methods with the captured objects;
If a specific language orand language phrase is not being recognized by ZOE please contact Zap and we’ll build a patch to enable any required language features (For example, we’ve found out in some French UI the decimal dot (‘.’) is being replaced by comma (‘,’), which caused ZPX methods to fail – After understanding this was the actual problem, we immediately built a patch for ZOE to overcome this issue) .
Note: ZPX is the only software testing tool which can test any type of language based UI.
Thanks,
Sasha
