Hello RobKites,
Thank-you for your question.
Basically you need to check the following:
1. Please make sure if you did actually downloaded the latest ZPX (Zap-fix) version, which is v140710 (Release Date – June 10, 2014):
The mentioned issue appeared several times in older ZPX versions.
2. In QTP, open some ZPX based testing script -> go to File -> Test Settings -> Click on the Resources tab, if the following associated functions’ library directory does not appear please make sure you’ve checked the ZPX QTP Add-in (In the Start-up window), and if yes then execute the QTP ZPX Add-in and check again if this directory appears (<C:Program FilesZAP-fiXAddin for QTPZAP-FIX.qfl>).
3. There is a know issue which sometimes the ZPX functions’ library does not associated, this issues is still under research because it does not occur for all QTP instances.
4. Note some of the older ZPX functions have been updated, therefore if you are trying to execute such older function or you are not finding such function in the child’s object functions’ list this is probably because the function was removed or updated and now it appears under a different name.
Please note that if there is a need to get previous functions into ZPX use, we can customize ZPX to answer your needs.
Please contact Zap for further help.
Thanks,
Sasha
