      Hello Zap,

      We heard there is a way to enable Zap-fix tests using the HP ALM Sprinter:
      As much as we know the Sprinter enables execution of manual tests but the Zap-fix tests are automatic, so how Zap-fix and Sprinter work together?

      Thanks.

        Hello AlishaM,

        Thank-you for your question.

        Basically you are correct, the HP ALM Sprinter is used only for manual tests’ executions while the Zap-fix creates and executes only automatic tests:
        But if you’ve noticed when you download and install Zap-fix you are also installing the Zap-fix Mobile and other devices Viewers (Please check Zap-fix’ installation directory);
        Such Viewers can help you execute manual tests from within the HP ALM Sprinter to devices and machines which ALM does not support, such as:
        Mobile devices, Mac machines, UnixLinux based OS, etc – This is being done by executing the specific Zap-fix Viewer from the HP ALM Sprinter tests’ steps.

        Basically with Zap-fix you can use ALM and the ALM Sprinter for a variety uses, such as:
        – Allows enterprise testing of Mobile Apps
        – Modular test coverage across multiple Mobile OS
        – Continue to Test Automation of manual test cases

        Please contact Zap for further help.

        Thanks,
        Sasha
