To proceed on next relrease of same application

Hi,
I am facing issue on detecting controls for the the new release of our application which do not have resizing of any controls except release version change on the title header. I have not considered any way that version number control in the scripting while taken the Mock-ups earlier already.

How can I go with same mock-ups and the scripts to test new release application. I am trying Free Edition of ZAPTEST. and so could export and import only that control of application name with version at the header of each view.

Attaching the old application as well as new application herewith. Please suggest the solution.

Hello savita_kolhe,

Please do the following:
Update the “regexpwndtitle” property of the “Application” object to the new title of your AUT (Application Under Test):
If this will not work then remove the entire string in the “regexpwndtitle” property, then if you do not use the method “Launch” then make sure to close all other opened windows except the AUT and ZAPTEST and run your test again (If you do use the method “Launch” then close all windows except ZAPTEST and run the test again).

If this will not work please attach your script and a screenshot of the AUT view the test is failing upon and we’ll continue researching this issue.
