Secure (https) REST API Call is not going through

Hi Zaptest.

I’m getting, what I believe, is SSL security issues when running REST API call.

I get this on the report almost instantly. Even after setting timeout to 120000.

For Postman, I need to disable SSL Certification check to get correct reply.

If I have this enabled, I will get no response

In Zaptest, I already disabled the setting

But I still don’t get correct API response.

Hope you can help.

Thank you, for the detailed information!

We addressed this issue to the ZAPTEST R&D team. The current version doesn’t support an untrusted certificate for API calls. The fix will be available in the next version (option to disable checks).

As a workaround, you could add this certificate as a trusted system certificate.

RnD team has already added the ability to disable SSL checks (via options) for the internal build. We have planned the next public build end of the next week!
