Hello Abhishek. Thanks for using ZAPTEST

For scheduled execution you can use Windows Task Scheduler.
First you need to create batch file for ZAP script execution (see link). Then schedule this batch execution with Windows Task Scheduler.

Hope that helps.
Thanks,
ZAPTEST Team

Thanks for the help.
Another question is, Can we consolidate/merge the test execution reports to generate a summary report of every test execution?

Hello Abhishek
In Enterprise edition it is possible to create modular script which one will call for external scripts and execute it one by one. Then in report all the results will be presented. In Free edition this feature unavailable though.

Thanks,
ZAPTEST Team

OR
Export the report data to excel/CSV

Abhishek, you can parse the result files as it based on xml. Customization is not available.

Thanks,

Hi Abhishek
There are numbers of solutions – parametrization of text values of the objects (if these objects are OCR type), use external tables for the object names/text, write some specific functions that snaps up the object and compare it to the different one. These features available for Enterprise edition. This kind of testing is advanced testing already thus we are suggesting to upgrade to Enterprise license.

For Free edition the only solution I can propose is to get entire amount of possible objects in repository and use if-else for validation it one by one.

Hope that helps.
Thanks,

when trying to launch through file path (application file not exe file), path not found error

‘Application(“Application”).Launch “C:Program Files (x86)testAppUndertestAppUndertest.Report” — (application file path using script)

Hi Team,

Does ZAPTEST trial version identifies excel objects e.g.
Menu options – File, Home
‘Close’ button
trying both;
‘Application(“Application”).View(“View”).Object(“111 AppUndertest”).DblClick — (icon using recording)

‘Application(“Application”).Launch “C:Program Files (x86)testAppUndertestAppUndertest.Report” — (application file path using script)
Both ways should work. For the double click of the icon probably objects are not recognized within file explorer

As for “launch” – is the AppUndertest.Report is a file you should open or it is the application?
