        Hello HoRotem,

        Thank you for your question.

There may be different reasons why ZAPTEST has problem recognizing the button (“Recognizing” means to locate the object in the application), reasons such as:
        1. The button appears after long period of time which passes the default time ZAPTEST waits for an object to appear (In such case there is a need to set the “Wait” command or some loop until the expected button will appear).

        2. The button has some caption on it which ZAPTEST has difficulties finding it (For example, caption which almost blends with the button’s color – Contact ZAP to get steps how to recognize the caption by ZAPTEST).

        3. The button may be located have some location difficulties (Such as shifted location during run-time – In such case you have to have stable nearby object which will be set as anchor, meaning as Relative Object).

        4. The button does not appear in the same scanned page (In such case you have to add a new View which will include the button).

Basically we need to know how the button appears in the AUT (Application Under Test), it is best to send to ZAP a screenshot of the page where the specific button appears so we can check why ZAPTEST has difficulties recognizing this button (ZAPTEST can save the button as an object even without accessing its AUT).

Please contact ZAP for further help.

        Thanks,
        Sasha
