Not seeing text being type for Chrome

I’m going through the ZapTest – Script-Less Tutorial-Building First Script.

While running the test, where the Username is entered, I do not see the text being typed out for Chrom or Firefox but I do see it for ie.

I even tried doing a click on the field before the type this does not work either.

Do you see any errors in the test results for Chrome and Firefox?
If so, please attach the result file (.zre).
To open the Results folder: TOOLS > Open Folder > Results

no error messages it seems to accept the text but I’m not seeing it.

Are you able to enter the value manually?
Can you please attach the test result file?

I just ran the test with the three browsers.
On Chrome the next page does not show up either, but the test result is a pass.
On ie it works as expected, seeing the text being typed the second page shows up and validated.
On Firefox no text is shown but the second page does not log either.

I have included my ZAP test also.

This can be permission issue on your system.
Try to open ZAPTEST as administrator and run the test again.

I just ran it as Administrator. A little more accurate result. I have the Chrome Browser failing at not seeing the second page, this is more accurate reporting.

Same problem only the IE test run shows the inputted text.

I tried it with Brave Browser and Opera Browser it had other problems so I went back to Chome, IE, firefox.

Now IE stopped displaying text and going to the second page. But Firefox is working properly.

I ran the test again this time I changed the order of the browsers.
1-ie
2-firefox
3-chrome.

Now ie is the only one that does not work and firefox and chrome are working correctly.

How do you see it during a test run – does ZAPTEST click inside or outside the edit fields and LOGIN button?
