Good evening
In this video: https://www.zaptest.com/user-zone/product-training/zaptest/integrations/jira-integration
note how with ZapTest you can create Task and Bug items with Jira.
With my Jira account I can only create Ticket-type items in project X.
Maybe it is for this reason that, when I try to save the .zap file in the Jira project X as indicated in the video, I get attached error?
What authorizations do I have to ask the Jira administrator for my account, so that I can create Tasks and Bugs as indicated in the video?
Another question: what does the “Default components” field in the Jira connection form indicate? What value can it contain?
Thank you.
Marco Malziotti
Hello Marco!
In Jira you should have enough permission to define a new issue (and edit it).
This must include permission to upload attachments.
The allowed size of attachments needs to be sufficient to upload big files like your script (.zap) file.
Thank Sergey
In my Jira there are the following “isse type”.
Which of these do I need to be enabled for?
I am already enabled for “ticket” but I get the error stated above.
Thank.
Marco – I believe you should have access to Task and Bug types. Those are default types. I cannot tell about “Ticket” custom type as it’s not clear how it was defined.
