Hello CurtisDo,
Thank-you for your question.
You are correct, there is an option to configure the iPhone iOS OS for automation with ZPX (Zap-fix) using the iOSTool.
Follow these steps to do so:
1. Launch the iOStool application and browse for the firmware file you have downloaded previously.
2. Click Next. Do not change the default settings and click Next. Do not change the default settings and click Next.
3. At this point, turn off your iOS device then plug it in to the PC using a USB cable. To do this, hold the power button on the device when it is unlocked then slide the shutdown slider to the right. Once the iOS device is shutdown, connect the USB cable from the PC to the device.
4. Click Next and follow the instructions on the screen.
5. Hold down the power button for 3 seconds (until the Apple logo appears) then hold down Home button without releasing the Power button for 10 seconds (until the screen goes black).
6. Now release power button only and keep holding Home button for few seconds until iOS tool shows a screen with progress bar.
7. Now release the Home button. At this point you can close iOStool and wait until the iOS device finishes the configuration.
Note: If your iOS device had firmware version 4.3.5, everytime you will reboot it, you will need to use the iOStool. If not booted with iOStool, the device will get stuck on Apple logo or will not have Cydia app. To boot the device with iOStool, perform the same operations as before but instead of choosing "Install Tool", choose "Just boot tethered right now".
Please contact Zap for further help.
Thanks,
Sasha
