Hello,
I’ve read somewhere that Zap-fix is able to configure iPhone for its tests, I know this is possible only by doing some jailbreak (which is illegal) – How does Zap-fix do it then?

Thank-you for your question.

Basically Zap considers to be one of Apple’s Partner, that means Zap has special privileges and option to use Apple’s devices which non-Apple partners do not have (See following Zap’s Partners list at http://www.zaptechnologies.com/why-us/partners).

Based on the above ZAP offers 3 different options to configure any Apple mobile device:
The rooted option, The instrumented option, The ZUMA option(ZUMA = ZAP Universal Mobile Access).
