        Hello john,

        Basically there may be many reasons why an object is not being located (Recognized by ZAPTEST), reasons such as:
        – More then one similar object exists in the same pagearea (In such case you will need to update the “Appearance” object’s property to be set “By Order” and to set its object’s index) ;
        – The object is dynamic which means it may appear or disappear before it got found properly (In such case you can use the method “SetProperty” to update the object during runtime);
        – The textcaption of the object is  blur or contains a background color which may interfere in reading the specific text (In such case you need to change the”Gamma” object’s property accordingly);
        – The scanned pagearea does not match the original page during runtime, meaning: features such as resolution of the screen during the scanning is different then the one during runtime, or the scanned imagetext cannot be seen during runtime unless the page will be scroll (In such case you can use the “ScrollTo” method);
        – etc.

        You can follow our online free Beginner Tutorial in the URL:

        Tutorial

        In order to understand how to add a recognizable object to ZAPTEST Object Repository:
        It is best practice to follow the tutorial from its first video.

        If you still will not be able to locate the object during runtime please send us a screenshot of the entire page where the image you are trying to use is located in it and specify to us what will be this object and how the created test should use this object.

        Hope this helps.

        Thanks,
        ZAPTEST Team
