Not sure if I’m understanding well… by “pgm / interface” do you mean planning and running tests (test manager) ?
But if you want trig a run… you can do by cmd or multi runs you can do by batch file or Jenkins or any test manager.
If it’s what you looking for see here https://www.zaptest.com/user-zone/product-training/zaptest/getting-started/zaptest-command-line-execution

        Hi
I have already used the command line but wondered if there was anything else such as control of ZAPTEST via REST ?
You say any testmanager but doesn’t that require hooks in ZAPTEST such that they can integrate ?

By a test manager like mtm, test trail or qTest…., the only way I found is to add a step in the test case that trig a cmd on the run and that trig the zap test, but if there is an API available for Zaptest, I’d like to know that too? 😉
In my case, I flushed all Test Manager tools and use Jenkins with a multi-jobs for each test cases.

…before Jenkins I created directly a folders structure of a planning test suites with the zaptest files and for the recursive execution by batch to executes all zaptest files.
          for %%i in (%cd%Hop_ControlPanel*) do "C:Program Files (x86)ZAP-fiXStandaloneZAPTEST.exe" ZAPTEST.exe -r -h -nr -rp "%cd%RESULTS" %%i
          exit

For now, I’m fine with Jenkins, but if I or you find something else, just reply in this discussion. 🙂
