Hello sridhar5.ms. Thanks for using ZAPTEST.
Regarding child object – this kind of object does not work with OCR recognition, the aim of the child object is to specify particular position relatively to parent object. However you are able to grab a text from this object (the part of the screen it is covering) or capture a bitmap to validate what is reflected on the real application at that particular place.
