Cannot use the Table object in Zap-fix Standalone

Hello Zap,

We have tables in our web based application, and we noticed the Zap-fix (Standalone version) does have an option to change an object added inthe Workbench into Table or List Class objects, but when we do so there is no option to use it in the testing script (There are not methods to enable these objects in the test, meaning there are no methods to get or set data from these type objects).

Please advise.

Thank-you for your question.

You are correct, in the ZPX (Zap-fix) standalone although you can change an object’s class into Table or List type there are no methods which can be use in teh AUT (Application Under test) with these objects.
The Zap R&D Dept. still continues to develop a series of methods for these objects to be implemented in the ZPX Standalone version.
Meantime You have can follow these 2 advises:

1. Use the ZPX Addin for UFT, there you can use the UFT build-in (Out of the box) DataTable methods.

2. You can create a VBScript to get and set data in a Web table and implement it inside the ZPX Standalone testing script (The ZPX Standalone version has a VBScript library implemented into it, which enables you to use teh VBScript methods inside the ZPX Standalone version).
