Target device: iPhone 6 (OS 10.3.3) Passcode disabled, App, cert installed and trusted, iTunes installed and device connected.
When I double click the ZAP Browser icon in the Device Manager, the application repeatedly tries to launch, but fails (application can be run manually on device) and the Device Manager just shows the progress spinner for a couple minutes and then fails with a Device Error “Cannot perform Operation: Cannot connect to the Device” However, returning to the Device Manager, the device is clearly still being detected by the app.

By ‘repeatedly attempting to launch’ I mean that the application’s splash screen appears, remains static, then disappears, the re-appears as it tries to launch again, etc.

This could be related to the other odd issue I’m experiencing, and that is, when I launch the Device Manager, I get an ‘iTunes not detected’ error, even though iTunes latest version is installed and running.

        Hello Michael!

Are you using the “Enterprise” browser package from our portal? Apple has blocked the automatic execution (but not fully) process for release and enterprise packages since iOS 10, this is the reason why the app relaunches few times (the last one is usually successful). Try reboot the phone and execute it again, it should help.

Regarding general using of application, we have 3 ways:

        1. Restart the device if it can help
        2. Execute ZAP Browser once on a device (manually) and then use Device Manager to connect to the application. If we don’t use other applications we can change the URI from ZAPTEST without restarting the app
        3. Install package with using developer certs from Apple Developer Account: it allows you to execute applications on devices without any limitations

        Thank you,
        ZAPTEST Team
