After Zap-fix installtion different issues appear

Hello Zap,

After installing Zap-fix we’ve encountered a few issues:
1. After installing Zap-fix and adding new account to the same machine, in the next login the Zap-fix was suddenly gone from the Start Menu (We’ve installed it on Win 7 OS machine).
2. The Zap-fix License Server shows an error message when trying to start it.
3. When trying to scan an application, Zap-fix shows a message saying there is no Repository listed in the Repository field.

Please help.

Thank-you for your questions.
We’re sorry you’re experiencing the mentioned issues.

1. Regarding the missing ZPX (Short for Zap-fix) from the Start menu:
Please reboot the machine and you’ll see the Zap-fix again in the Start menu.

2. Regarding the error the ZPX License Server showed when trying to start it:
Please uninstall ZPX completely, reboot the machine, install it again, reboot the machine again – This should fix the issue and you’ll be able to StartStop the ZPX License Server as needed.

3. Regarding the message ZPX shows when tryign to scan a UI issue:
Make sure ZPX was installed on the machine after QTPUFT was installed on it:
If you first installed ZPX prior QTPUFT you need to uninstall them both, install first QTPUFT, reboot the machine and check if they work successfully, only then install ZPX, rebot the machine and test it – This should fix this issue.

P.S. There are more options to fix these issues, but the mentioned fix is the quickest and the most reliable ones.
