      Hello davidnoreen99,

      When checking the final test’s results and expending the Exist executed line of test, does it show that it captured the correct count details as they appear in screen (i.e. ‘40’ or ‘50’)?
      If not then it appears the count details’ object is not being recognized properly by ZAPTEST, meaning it is not SET to capture the proper data – In order to set an object to capture required data, especially dynamic data that its value orand location may change for example, you need to update some of the object’s properties orand use features such as Relative Object and or even Area Object;
      Please check our online Beginner’s Tutorial at:

      Tutorial

      Also you can refer to our Documentation help at:
      https://www.zaptest.com/user-zone/product-training

      P.S. If you still will have difficulties to capture object’s correct value please attach your testing script (The *.zap file) and 2 screenshots:
      One for the 50 rows’ results and the other for the 40 rows’ results.

      Thanks,
      ZAPTEST Team

        Hi,
        I’m trying to use the tool to test macro execution in MS Project with Windows 10. It seems to work fine with button clicks but I was getting confusing results with GetText and ReportText. I kept thinking it was my OCR settings, my window location settings but I was getting random data often. I finally added HighLight before doing ReportText. Sometimes it highlights the correct spot but often it is another object, sort of another object or just a random location. When it highlights the correct location then I get the correct answer.

        Looking for a recommendation to solve the problem. I’ve included screen shots.

        Thanks,
        Craig

          Hello craig.trivelpiece,

          It is possible your Results’ object is not recognized properly during runtime:
          In order to set an object to capture required data, especially dynamic data that its value orand location may change for example, you need to update some of the object’s properties orand use features such as Relative Object and or even Area Object;

            Thank you. I had assumed that relative object was only needed if the screen was moving and that the object property coordinates gave its positioning. The tutorial made the relative positioning as a suggestion but it seems like it is a requirement.

            After making the images relative to a button everything worked! Thanks for the help.

            Craig
