      Hello [email protected],

I understand you are using ZAPTEST Free Edition, correct?
Can you please attach the following:
      1. The actual testing script.
2, A screenshot of the application’s full page where you get this error.
Also please specify in which test’s line of code you receive the error.

      Thanks,
      ZAPTEST Team

        Hi,

Thank you for the quick response. As soon as I try to run any script, I get the below error message. Even when using the test script I get this. How do I resolve this?. Please see the pic below.

          Hello nischala.eaga,

Basically the error means that there is something wrong with the Objects as they appear in the script, therefore it cannot be executed:
Can you please attach the *.zap file, which is the testing script itself, for further examination.

          Thanks,
          ZAPTEST Team

              Hello nischala.eaga,

Thank you for the testing file.

I’ve updated the test so now it should work:
It appears our portal’s Home page changed a bit therefore the testing script failed a bit.

Please let e know if it runs now successfully.

P.S. In order to make sure ZAPTEST based tests run without any issues you must download and use the latest ZAPTEST v20.2.45 – You can download it from:
              https://www.zaptest.com/software/download-zaptest?offline-installer

              Thanks,
              ZAPTEST Team

                Hi,

I did install “zaptest” from the link you provided and run the script you have sent but still getting the same error. Please see the attached image.

                Steps I followed:

Installed the zaptest from the link sent
Run the zaptest.exe file and save it in C:// Users but not in Program files because I do not have admin rights for my client laptop..

Please let me know if I’m doing something mistake.

                  Thank you nischala.eaga,.

Basically in my end I do not have such issue, it may be due to your limited machine’s permissions:
I’ve forwarded the issue to our R&D team.

                  I’m sorry for the trouble.
                  We’ll keep you updated.

                  Thanks,
                  ZAPTEST Team

                    Hello Nischala!

Could you reset all ZAPTEST settings, it seems you tried out to change libraries configuration?

                    Options.png

Please, see the attached image. As an option, you could remove the following file: C:Users[USER_NAME]DocumentsZAPTESTPreferencesFunctionLibraries.xml

                    Thank you,
                    ZAPTEST Team
