      Hello Ruta!

      To start API automation you should

      1. Open “API Explorer” and create new “Server” object

      2. Select “Server” object and create a new Method (using context menu)

      3. Provide Method Name and URL (full or part)

      4. Select new object at the list and fill all required properties in the “API Studio”: request type, parameters, etc:

      5. Add created object into the “Script Editor” or “Step View” and select “Execute” method

        I cannot see API explorer in my GUI where can I find it ?

          Hello alan.carr,

          In the upper-left ZAPTEST menu go to View and click the API Explorer, the API Explorer should appear in the right ZAPTEST pane.

            Hi

            My View menu shows Workbench, Repositry explorer, object properties, gui map, datatable,error list, watch list , reset window layout only.

            I am using 16.1.0 free edition, I did check if free supports and according to the site it does

                Hi

                I can now see the menu item, thanks for your help

                BTW The first thing I did when I couldn’t see the menu was to check if app was up to date !
