      Hello swisskala,

      The main reason why it may take too long for ZAPTEST to execute a step is because it (ZAPTEST) does not find quickly enough the object it supposes to execute its assigned method.
      There may be many reasons why an object is not being found (recognized) as expected by ZAPTEST, reasons such as:
      – There are too many objects similar to the one we wish to use;
      – The object is dynamic and tends to disappear or to reappear in different locations;
      – The object’s color causes the object’s caption not to be bold enough;
      – There are not enough object’s properties which are not changeable during each execution;
      – Etc.

      There are many ways to make ZAPTEST find an object quickly, you need to update the different object’s features, such of its Properties, or assign to it Relative Objects, or add it to an Area object, etc.

      Please check our online Beginner Tutorial which will lead you through the process of creating your first basic tests and help you to understand how to create a more recognizable objects:

      Thanks,
      ZAPTEST Team
