How to test a software like Microsoft word

Very new to Zaptest. From the tutorial video, when we test a website, we drag the object into the test window, we put in Chrome for browser, and then we give URL address below.
But for a software like Word, I can give it a name Word, but there is no URL to give, in this case if I run a test, it will fail.Help needed! Thanks.

Hello jzfwang,
In order to execute a non web based app you should use a similar command as in the following example (In the example this command executes the Windows’ OS Calculator app):
Application(“Calc”).Launch “C:Windowssystem32calc.exe”, “Test”, False, TrueIn the above example, in order to execute the MS Word app you need to replace the Calculator’s directory to the MS Word executable file directory.
