Hello RobKites,
Thank you for your question.
There are 2 answers to your question:
1. If you familiar with other functionality testing tools which are out there in the market, such as HP UFT, in such tools you should not create too large tests because:
1.1 Their maintenance is extremely difficult,.
1.2 The testing tool is build to handle maximum size of test more then this maximum size the tool may get distorted in its execution (Due to memory and CPU usage).
1.3 You have to make tests which only handle specific business processes, if you’ll create a test which will handle more then 1 business process the examination of such test’s results will be very difficult.
1.4 If the AUT (Application Under Test) has issues in its performance under load, meaning:
Not freeing its memory properly, too much load gets its speed degraded, etc – ZAPTEST’s executed test will fail to locate its assigned objects in a reasonable time.
2. ZAP always keeps improving its version, also based on its clients’ found issues, the upcoming versions are more robust and stable then the previous ones:
Once they will be published please make sure to install them and check if you still get same issues.
Please contact ZAP for further help.
Thanks,
Sasha
