Please follow these prerequisites steps to configure iOS to work with Zap-Fix:
1. Start by navigating to ZAP-fiX portal at http://www.zap-fix.com and enter the credentials of your ZAP-fiX account.
2. Click on Downloads link -> Download "iOStool" and save it on your local PC.
3. Download the iOS firmware for your device.
4. Click "Apple Firmware" link, Choose your iOS device.
5. If your iOS device is using a Sim Card then you are on the GSM version. Select your iOS device’s firmware version. If you do not know it, follow these instructions:
5.1 Tap the "Settings" icon on the iOS device, tap on General, tap on About.
5.2 The "Version" item indicates the currently installed iOS firmware version on the device.
5.3 Select the corresponding firmware version.
5.4 Click the link to download the firmware file and save it on your local PC.
5.5 Once complete, go to the folder where you have saved the files.
5.6 If firmware’s file extension is ZIP you will need to rename it to IPSW (If you cannot see the extension, go to Folder options, click "View" tab and uncheck "Hide extensions for known file types").
6. The final step is to download and install iTunes,to do so:
6.1 Navigate to http://www.apple.com/itunes, then hit Download iTunes button, then hit Download Now button and save it on your PC.
6.2 When complete, run the installer and complete the iTunes installation wizard.
