      Hello Zap,

We use Zap-fix for some time already and we’ve noticed Zap-fix scan (In the Workbench) does not scan all the objects in some pageswindows in the application we are testing.

Please help us to understand why does it happens and is there a workaround solution for this issue.

      Thanks.

        Hello HoRotem,

        Thank-you for your question.

Because of the revolutionary ZPX (Zap-fix) technology, which allows creating automated tests on any known GUI based application (Tests that can be executed in all known platforms without changing them), ZPX is not an ordinary testing tool:
It uses most original and patent based engine which is unique only for ZPX.
Although ZPX UI looks similar to other known testing applications’ UI, it still varied significantly from other known testing tools (And much more advanced).
When ZPX (Zap-fix) scans a GUI, ZPX captures it in a certain unique way which may not all GUI objects will be added to the Objects’ list:
Therefore if in the tested app there were objects which did not add automatically to the ZPX Workbench objects’ list, it will require adding them manually (By clicking the Add Object button).

Please contact Zap for further help.

        Thanks,
        Sasha
