      Hello,
      We have a problem recognizing an object based on a text, because it has no text on it:
      We heard there is a way to add Relative Objects, what are the Relative Objects and how do we add them?
      Thanks.

        Hello BarbJack,

        Thank-you for your question.

        The Relative Objects are non-recognizable ZPX (Zap-fix) Objects which are set as “relatives” to ZPX recognizable Objects (Which are being called “anchors”), and by doing so ZPX will be able to recognize the Objects which previously it could not recognize:
        This ZPX does by calculating the relative distance from a non-recognizable Object (The relative Object) to its recognizable Object (The anchor Object).

        How do we add them?
        You are starting by defining a new ZPX non-recognizable object and give it an appropriate name;
        Now you’ll define it as a relative object to a ZPX recognizable Object:
        This is done by first clicking the relative object selection button (The “hand” icon), then we need to click the object that would be used as the anchor for our relative object (One of the ZPX recognizable Objects);
        In the QTP Object Repository you will see the anchor object have become parent object to our relative object;
        This means that during runtime ZPX will first scan the AUT (Application Under Test) for the ZPX anchor Object (regardless of its location) then automatically define the relative object in the correct offset from the parent object, effectively locating it dynamically on the screen.

        Please contact Zap for further help.

        Thanks,
        Sasha
